Hassocks and Keymer are pleasant villages located about 8 miles from Brighton, just north of the South Downs. They have a joint population of about 7 000. Both villages are ideally located having both rail and road links to Haywards Heath, London, the Sussex coast and direct access to the Downs. In the past years Hassocks and Keymer have both expanded rapidly becoming a popular residence for families and commuters due to the good schools and rail links. There are a wide range of community services and groups in both villages which can be found in the HASSOCKS & KEYMER DIRECTORY which is published in January each year. Extra copies of the Directory can be obtained from local ‘pick-up points’ around the villages.
