This historic community is found on the River Arun as it flows on its way to Littlehampton. Its most prominent feature is the Castle which is open to the public and is the home of the Duke of Norfolk and his family. The Duke is the head of the Catholic Church in England and Arundel Cathedral can be seen as a very prominent feature of the town. More information about the history of Arundel can be found on the Arundel website www.arundel.org.uk. The steep and winding streets are home to many tourist attractions, antique shops and tea shops, but behind the tourist attractions is a community that enjoys many social and sporting activities for young and old alike organized local clubs and societies. Details of these activities can be found in the ARUNDEL DIRECTORY which is published every May and delivered to all homes in Arundel.
The publication of the Directory is made entirely possible by local trades and services that advertise in the Directory. A complete listing of these services can be found on the trade listings page on this web site. |
